Vermont Maintenance Workshop

The Vermont Recreation and Parks Association, in partnership with the New England Sports Turf Managers Association and New England Park Association have hosted a hands-on Maintenance Workshop for several years.

Traditionally, the entire morning is dedicated to hands-on educational sessions, site visits, vendors and equipment demos. After the morning sessions we will break for lunch followed by several roundtable discussions. Meet people from around the region who work in park and school settings. Attendees will walk away with specific resources and tools to apply within your organization and community.

In 2026, a pre-conference workshop is being discussed that would involve hands-on workshops for maintenance professionals, along with outdoor sessions for trail builders, state park employees, municipal staff, and other various maintenance niches. 

This workshop is a great way to meet people from around the state who work in  park and  school settings and face similar challenges.
