VRPA Annual Awards

Nominations Extended through July 2020

Nominations are now being accepted for VRPA's Annual Awards, as well for new Executive Committee members.

Annual Awards - Nominations are now being accepted and the awards will be presented at the VRPA Annual Meeting in May. The Award categories are as followed:

  • The Young Professional Award - to recognize professionals who have been working in the parks and recreation field in Vermont for a period of at least two years and no more than ten years. Nominees need to be VRPA members.
  • The Facility of Merit Award- to recognize an outstanding and/or creative renovation or development of a recreation facility or amenity. Nominees need to be VRPA members.
  • The Unsung Hero Award - to recognize a person or professional who has demonstrated consistent or outstanding service in their community. Nominations must be made by a VRPA member; nominees do not need to be a VRPA member.
