The VRPA Summerama is a one-day training program for new and returning seasonal staff held each year in late May or early June. The program schedule includes a welcome session with ice breakers, followed by four blocks of educational sessions with 2-3 programs offered during each time block. Participants can choose one program in each time block. Summerama generally begins about 8:00am and ends following lunch about 1:00pm.
Summerama is a good way to enhance the staff training program you offer to your summer staff and a great opportunity for your staff to meet people from around the state who will be doing similar work. The registration fee is very affordable, with discounts for multiple registrations. VRPA members and non-members are welcome.
Summerama 2012 will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Dothan Brook School in White River Junction, VT.
The 2012 Summerama Flyer and Registration Form will be available online by April 1, 2012.
